Hillel Schechter is a partner in the Corporate and Litigation Departments at Tashlik Goldwyn Levy LLP. Hillel’s practice focuses on contract, corporate, SEC and transactional matters as well as on litigation matters.
Hillel represents various public and privately held clients in transactional matters, both on the sale and purchase side. Hillel regularly advises clients on SEC and corporate compliance issues as well as employee benefit matters. Hillel also has extensive experience in representing physicians and professional groups in negotiating faculty practice and other employment and affiliation arrangements. In addition, Hillel handles intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations and intellectual property assignments and licenses.
Prior to joining the Firm, Hillel was employed at KPMG and at the New York State Insurance Department.
Hillel received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School where he graduated cum laude, was a member of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and was a recipient of the Richardson Scholarship and Judge Weinstein Scholarship. Hillel received his undergraduate accounting degree from Yeshiva University where he was a Belkin Scholar.
