Theodore Wm. Tashlik is a partner in the Corporate, Securities and Tax Departments of Tashlik Goldwyn Levy LLP. Ted’s practice encompasses an inter-discipline approach to solving complex problems in an efficient and tax effective manner.
Ted has represented numerous public and private companies ranging from start-ups to major enterprises in industries including basic materials, communications, internet and social media, consumer goods, defense, distribution, financial, leasing, legal and accounting firms, manufacturing, medical, oil and gas, software and transportation, both domestically and internationally.
As part of his practice, Ted regularly advises on commercial and transactional matters ranging from standard commercial agreements to complex transactional matters, such as mergers, acquisitions, securities offerings and financings.
Ted has been a director of numerous public and private companies and serves on several charitable and not-for-profit Boards. He has also served as Chairman of the Corporation Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, an adjunct professor of finance at the Graduate Business School of Long Island University and as a panelist and guest lecturer for various bar and other groups.
Ted received his J.D. from Cornell University Law School, with honors. At Cornell he was a member of the Law Review and the recipient of the E.D.P. Carey Prize for legal excellence. Ted received his Masters of Law (LL.M.) at New York University Law School. He is a graduate of Queens College.
